When you enable cloud workload protection (CWP) on an AWS, an Azure, or a Google Cloud Platform Versa Operating SystemTM (VOSTM) device branch, you can display the cloud workloads from the Director GUI. You enable cloud workload protection when you create a CMS connector for the cloud device. From the Director GUI, you can display details about each CMS connector and its associated cloud applications.
A cloud workload is an application, a service, a capability that runs on a cloud device or some amount of work that consumes cloud-based resources, such as computing or memory.
To view the cloud workloads:
- In Director view:
- Select the Configuration tab in the top menu bar.
- Select Devices > Devices in the horizontal menu bar.
- Select a device in the main pane. The view changes to Appliance view.
- Select the Monitor tab in the top menu bar.
- Select the provider organization in the left menu bar.
- Select the Cloud Workload tab. The table displays information about the cloud applications, including the connector, region, network, and virtual machine (VM) or tag. Tags are preceded by a string that indicates the service provider. For example, if the service provider is AWS, tags are preceded by the string aws.
