Add and Manage New Customers on the Titan Portal Dashboard

Versa-logo-release-icon.pngFor supported software information, click here.

An operator, store administrator, MSP, or reseller can add a new customer (organization) under them and can then manage their customers. They can enable the following features for customers:

  • External SSO authentication—An administrator can enable single sign-on (SSO) authentication while creating a new customer by selecting the external SSO authentication option. After SSO authentication is enabled, you must create an SSO profile for the user using the SSO option in the Titan Portal settings menu. You can enable either two-factor authentication or external SSO authentication, but not both.
  • Multi-VRF—Virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) is a multi-segmented network topology that is part of the organization's VPN. VRF allows you to configure and maintain more than one instance of the routing and forwarding table within the same router. After an administrator enables multi-VRF in an organization, a user can see the VRF option and so can add the VRF when configuring LAN profiles and Ethernet ports.
  • Versa trouble ticket—Enable access to the Versa Networks support portal for support ticketing.

When an MSP or reseller adds a customer to Titan Portal, a welcome email is sent to the customer that contains a unique URL that the customer uses to access Titan Portal. This URL includes the organization name, which is referred to as My Domain. For a new customer, the organization name is part of the My Domain URL, and a subdomain selected by Versa is attached to the URL. The customer can also configure a custom My Domain URL. With My Domain, the end user can directly access all configured SSO profiles without entering the organization name.

For the organizations that are migrating from previous releases, the organization name and the subdomain versatitan.net subdomain are part of the My Domain URL. If you want to modify the existing My Domain URL, contact Versa Networks Customer Support.
