Add Devices Using Titan Portal

You can use Titan Portal to add devices to an organization. A store administrator, managed service provider (MSP), or reseller can do the following:
- Add devices for their customers.
- Manage the customers.
- Onboard a SASE gateway, multitenant, or multitenant remote access client (RAC) or remote access service (RAS) gateway to a tenant using the cloud gateway option.
Note that only an operator can add a private gateway (SASE gateway), multitenant, or multitenant RAC/RAS gateway for a provider organization.
Prerequisites for Deploying cCSG Devices
Before you deploy a cCSG device on any cloud through the Versa Titan dashboard, perform the following tasks on the cloud:
- Create a cloud server, and mount it to the internal gateway to reach the internet.
- On the cloud server, install Versa Operating SystemTM (VOSTM) Release 20.2.x or later, depending on the VOS software version running on the Versa Director node.
- Collect the LAN subnet information for the cloud server. Note that before you deploy a cCSG device, you must configure the cCSG LAN interfaces to match the networks in the cloud environment.
Add Devices to an Organization
To add devices to an organization using Titan Portal:
- In the Organizations dashboard, locate the organization in the grid, click the 3-dot icon, and then click Add Devices.
- In the Add Device Details popup window, select the hardware device:
- CSG
- cCSG
- vCSG
- Dell
- Whitebox
- Cloud Gateway—A store administrator, MSP, or reseller can onboard a SASE gateway, multitenant, or multitenant RAC/RAS gateway to a tenant using the cloud gateway option.
- To add a CSG device, click the CSG button, and then enter the following information.
Field Description Device Type Select a hardware device type:
- CSG150 series
- CSG300 series
- CSG700 series
- CSG1000 series
- CSG2000 series
- CSG5000 series
Region Choose a region:
- Americas & EMEA
- Asia
Hardware Add-On Click to display the hardware add-on menu, and then click the add-on. Wireless Interface Click to display the wireless interface menu, and then select wireless interface. Add-On NIC Click to display the add-on NIC menu, and then select the add-on. Gateway Type Select the gateway type. Note that private, multitenant, and multitenant RAC/RAS gateways are not available on CSG150 series, CSG300 series, CSG730 appliances, or CSG750 appliances. Also note that only an operator can add a private gateway (SASE gateway), multitenant, and multitenant RAC/RAS gateway for a provider organization.

- Advanced Security—Advanced security features.
- Enterprise Security—Standard license.
- Secure Application Optimization—Enable DNS proxy, TCP optimization, steering with voice MOS value, and hub controller. This license is available on all devices except CSG350 and CSG730 appliances.
Add-On Feature Toggle to enable remote access VPN. To configure remote access VPN, see Configure Remote Access VPN. Subscription Duration Select the length of the subscription:
- 1 year
- 3 years
- 5 years
PO License Start Date (Required) Enter the purchase order license start date. PO Number (Required) Enter the purchase order number. Hardware Replacement Select the hardware replacement time:
- Next business day replacement
- Same business day replacement
Quantity Enter the number of hardware devices to order. For HA devices, ensure the quantity is counted for primary and secondary devices.
- To add cCSG, Dell, vCSG, or white-box device, click the hardware button, and then enter information for the following fields.
Field Description Device SKU Select the hardware device SKU. To configure and deploy high availability on cCSG and vCSG devices, you must select cCSG-2XL and vCSG-2XL models.
- For cCSG devices:

Gateway Type Select the gateway type. Note that private, multitenant, and multitenant RAC/RAS gateways are not available on cCSG-M, vCSG-M, Dell VEP1425, VEP1445, and VEP1485 appliances. Also note that only an operator can add a private gateway (SASE gateway), multitenant, and multitenant RAC/RAS gateway for a provider organization.

Add a Private Gateway to a Device
Only an operator can add a private gateway for a provider organization.
- In the Add Device Details popup window, select the hardware device, and then enter information for the following fields.

Add a Multitenant or Multitenant RAC/RAS Gateway to a Device
To add a multitenant or multitenant RAC/RAS gateway to a device:
- In the Add Device Details popup window, select the hardware device, and then enter information for the following fields.

Wireless Interface Click to display the wireless interface menu, and then select the wireless interface. Add-On NIC Click to display the add-on NIC menu, and then select the add-on. Multitenant Select Multitenant. Only an operator can add a multitenant gateway for a provider organization.
Tenant Service Tier Select the tenant service tier:
- Essential (enterprise security)
- Professional (advanced security)
- Secure Application Optimization
Tenant License Type Select the license type. This is the maximum bandwidth and number of users that is shared across all tenants. The MSP can then divide this total bandwidth and/or number of users among the tenants on the device. After deploying and activating the device, it is not possible to change or modify the number of users and bandwidth.
- Number of Users
Click to select the license type based on the number of users. Then, in the Number of Users field, enter the number of authorized users. You must add a minimum of 50 users. If you select this license type, you can select VSPA service and VSIA service in the Gateway Options field. - Bandwidth (Mbps)
Click to select the license type based on bandwidth. Then, in the Bandwidth (Mbps) field, enter the bandwidth for VSIA and VSPA services.
Subscription Duration Select the length of the subscription:
- 1 year
- 3 years
- 5 years
PO License Start Date (Required) Enter the purchase order license start date.
PO Number (Required) Enter the purchase order number. Hardware Replacement Select the hardware replacement time:
- Next business day replacement
- Same business day replacement

- Click Submit.
Add a Cloud Gateway
- In the Add Device Details popup window, click the Cloud Gateway button. A store administrator, MSP, or reseller can onboard a SASE gateway, multitenant, or multitenant RAC/RAS gateway to a tenant using the cloud gateway option.
- To add a private (SASE) cloud gateway, select gateway type SASE, and then enter information for the following fields.
Field Description Gateway Type Click SASE. Note that SASE does not support a secure application optimization license.
Service Tier Select the service tier:
- Essential (enterprise security)
- Professional (advanced security)
License Type Select the license type.
- User
Click to select the license type based on the number of users. Then, in the Number of Users field, enter the number of authorized users. You must add a minimum of 50 users. For a local user, the maximum number of users is 255. If you select this license type, you can select VSPA service and VSIA service in the Gateway Options field.
- Bandwidth
Click to select the license type based on bandwidth. Then, in the SASE (VSIA & VSPA) Bandwidth field, enter the combined SASE bandwidth for VSIA and VSPA services. If you enter 250 Mbps, the total allocated bandwidth for VSIA and VSPA services is 250 Mbps. If you select the Bandwidth license type, the VSPA and VSIA services are selected by default. Range: 250 Mbps through 10000 Mbps
Gateway Region Select the SASE gateway regions. You must deploy and activate all SASE gateways with the similar LAN port numbers. Otherwise, the system configures the tenant on the first available LAN port.
Click Advanced to enter information about the VLAN and port for the SASE gateway services. If you do not select any VLAN ID, the organization ID is used as the VLAN ID.
Gateway Options If you select the User license type, select the SASE gateway options:
- Versa Secure Internet Access (VSIA)
- Versa Secure Private Access (VSPA)
Subscription Duration Click the length of the subscription:
- 1 year
- 3 years
- 5 years
PO License Start Date Enter the purchase order license start date. PO Number Enter the purchase order number. - To add a multitenant or multitenant (RAC/RAS) gateway, select gateway type Multitenant or Multitenant (RAC/RAS), and then enter information for the following fields.
Field Description Service Tier Select the service tier:
- Essential (enterprise security)
- Professional (advanced security)
- Secure Application Optimization
License Type Select the license type.
- User
Click to select the license type based on the number of users. Then, in the Number of Users field, enter the number of authorized users. You must add a minimum of 50 users. For a local user, the maximum number of users is 255.
- Bandwidth (Mbps)
Click to select the license type based on bandwidth. Then, in the Bandwidth field, enter the maximum bandwidth for the device. The Bandwidth can be allocated per tenant until the maximum bandwidth is used. Gateway Region Select the multitenant gateway regions. You must deploy and activate all gateways with the similar LAN port numbers. Otherwise, the system configures the tenant on the first available LAN port.
Click the Advanced option to enter the VLAN and port details for the SASE gateway services. If you do not select any VLAN ID, the organization ID is used as the VLAN ID.

- To add a private (SASE) cloud gateway, select gateway type SASE, and then enter information for the following fields.
