Disable Automatic Deletion
With the object versioning feature of Concerto, whenever you make changes to an object, a new version is created. Over time, many different versions of an object can accumulate, some of which are no longer in use. You can automatically delete SD-WAN object versions that are no longer used by an appliance and are not the latest version. However, if an object version is used by at least one appliance, or is not used by an appliance but is the latest version of an object, it is not deleted.
You can configure automatic deletion for the following types of objects:
- Profiles
- Profile Elements > Policies
- Profile Elements > Policy Elements
- Profile Elements > Rules
You cannot configure automatic deletion for any objects under Profile Elements > Elements, which do not support object versioning.
Note: If the Monitor lifecycle references a master profile, the master profile is not deleted from the Configuration lifecycle. As a result, you might see a master profile that is not used, but it is not deleted automatically.
When you create a new tenant, the automatic deletion of objects feature is enabled by default. If you upgrade from a previous release, automatic deletion is not enabled on the objects that were configured in the previous release, and you must enable them manually.
