Configure Access and Trunk Interfaces in Concerto

Versa-logo-release-icon.pngFor supported software information, click here.

You can configure access and trunk interfaces on an appliance. Access ports link to end devices, and trunk ports link to other switches. In access mode, a Layer 2 interface can have only one VLAN ID, while in trunk mode, a Layer 2 interface can have multiple VLAN IDs and VLAN ID ranges.

Releases 11.4.1 and later support both access and trunk modes. Releases 11.3.2 and earlier support access mode only.

To configure Layer 2 interface modes:

  1. In Tenant view, go to Configure > Profile Elements > Policy Elements > Device > Interface.
