Use OS SPacks with Concerto

Versa-logo-release-icon.pngFor supported software information, click here.

Versa Networks periodically provides OS SPacks and SPacks, which provide updates to the Concerto and VOS system software to protect the devices against newly identified security vulnerabilities. It is recommended that you install OS SPacks and SPacks on all deployed Versa Networks devices when the OS SPacks and SPacks become available. In addition, it is recommended that you upgrade to the latest VOS software releases when they become available, which is typically every 60 to 90 days.

To use OS SPacks, you edit the parameters for downloading the OS SPack, download the OS SPack to the Concerto node, and then install the OS security package on a VOS device. For information on SPacks, see Use SPacks with Concerto

To edit the OS SPack configuration for a device:

  1. From the main Tenants screen, select the Inventory lifecycle in the left navigation panel.
  2. Select the Software Packages tab. The following screen displays.
