Each physical or virtual Versa Operating SystemTM (VOSTM) device has default factory settings. The default factory settings are stored in the following files:

  • /opt/versa/etc/bootcfg/default-device-versa-csg7xx-specific.cfg—For CSG700 series appliances
  • /opt/versa/etc/bootcfg/default-device-versa-csg1xxx-specific.cfg—For CSG1000 series appliances
  • /opt/versa/etc/bootcfg/default-device.cfg—For all other appliances

The default factory settings settings are stored in files in the /opt/versa/etc/bootcfg directory on the VOS device. For example:

[admin@CSG355: bootcfg] $ pwd
/opt/versa/etc/bootcfg
[admin@CSG355: bootcfg] $ ls -al
total 56
drwxrwxr-x 2 versa versa 4096 Nov 24 20:50 .

-rw-rw-r-- 1 versa versa 14458 Oct 2 07:01 default-device-versa-csg7xx-specific.cfg

To return to the factory default configuration, issue the following command on the VOS device:

admin@CSG355-cli> request system load-default

For example:

Possible completions:
