The Versa Operating SystemTM (VOSTM) device owner tenant generates WAN interface utilization logs to report information about SD-WAN link interface utilization.

WAN Interface Utilization Message Fields

Log Type Log Description
applianceName Name of the VOS device. This is the name displayed in the output of the show system identification CLI command on the VOS device.
tenantName Name of the organization (tenant).
generateTime Time when the log was generated, in UNIX epoch time format.
tenantId Tenant identifier. This value is allocated internally by the VOS device.
vsnId Identifier of the virtual service node, or virtual machine (VM).
sentOctets Number of bytes sent on the interface.
recvdOctets Number of bytes received on the interface.
ulBwUtil

Uplink bandwidth utilization. This is computed as a percentage of the bandwidth configured in the uplink direction on the physical interface. If the uplink bandwidth is not configured, this field reports the total physical interface bandwidth.

dlBwUtil

Downlink bandwidth utilization. This is computed as a percentage of the bandwidth configured in the downlink direction on the physical interface. If the downlink bandwidth is not configured, this field reports the total physical interface bandwidth.

duration Measurement duration.
siteName Name of the SD-WAN site or branch.
cktName Name of the SD-WAN circuit used for the SD-WAN link.
intfName Name of the SD-WAN interface.
