This article describes how to upload a PAC file, download an existing PAC file, or download the certificate file associated with a tenant, on a Concerto node. A proxy autoconfiguration (PAC) file defines how web browsers and other user agents can automatically choose the appropriate proxy server to fetch a given URL.
Note: In Release 12.1.1, the PAC Files folder is located at Configure > Security Service Edge > Settings > User-Defined Objects. In Release 13.1.1, the PAC Files folder is located at Configure > Security Service Edge > Secure Access.
Upload a PAC File
To upload a PAC file to a Concerto node:
- Go to Configure > Security Service Edge > Secure Access > Clientless Application Access > PAC Files.

- The PAC Files screen displays the PAC files that are already uploaded. To find a particular file, use the search box.
- Click the
Add icon to upload a PAC file to the Concerto node.

- Click the
Upload File icon and choose a .pac file to upload for PAC configuration.

- Click Submit.

The PAC Files screen displays the uploaded PAC file.
- (For Releases 13.1.2 and later.) Click the
Copy icon in the Proxy URL column to copy the proxy URL for the proxy server. - (For Releases 13.1.2 and later.) Click the
Toggle button in the Status column to enable or disable the PAC file.
- (For Releases 13.1.2 and later.) Click the
Download a PAC File
To download a PAC file from a Concerto node:
- Go to Configure > Security Service Edge > Secure Access > Clientless Application Access > PAC Files.

- The PAC Files screen displays the PAC files that are already uploaded. To find a particular file, use the search box.
- Click the
Download File link in the Actions column to download a PAC file from the Concerto node.

Download a Certificate File
For Releases 13.1.2 and later.
To download a certificate file associated with a tenant:
- Go to Configure > Security Service Edge > Secure Access > Clientless Application Access > PAC Files.

- The PAC Files screen displays the PAC files that are already uploaded.
- Click the
Download Certificate icon to download a certificate file.

- In the Download Certificate File screen, click Submit.

Supported Software Information
Releases 12.1.1 and later support all content described in this article, except:
- Releases 12.2.1 and later, the PAC Files folder is moved under Security Service Edge > Secure Access.
- Releases 13.1.2 and later, the PAC Files folder is moved under Security Service Edge > Secure Access > Clientless Application Access; support download a certificate file; introduced PAC file Status column.
