Handy CLI Commands for Troubleshooting SD-WAN Networks

The following table lists some of the CLI commands that are handy for troubleshooting SD-WAN network issues. You issue these commands from the CLI on the VOS device.

| show alarms last-n number | View the alarms on the device. number is the number of alarms to view. |
| show coredumps | View all the coredumps generated on the device. |
| show device clients | View the current active and failed sessions, CPU usage per session, and memory load for all processes (daemons), including the data plane (workers and pollers) and control plane processes. |
| show device cpuload | View CPU load for each individual CPU core, including data plane cores (worker and poller) the control plane. |
| show interfaces brief | View a list of interfaces, their MAC addresses, the operational and administrative status, tenant ID to which the interface belongs, VRF, and IP addresses. |
| show interfaces detail | View the details of interfaces, including the IfIndex, MAC addresses, IP addresses, VRF, host interface, MTU, speed and duplex settings, receive and transmit (RX/TX) errors, and bridge information. |
| show system detail | View system information. |
| show system load-stats | View the CPU usage and memory load for data plane processes only. The output includes the load for all worker and poller threads, but does not include the load on control plane processes. |
| show system package-info | View information about the VOS software image running on the CPE. |
| show system status | View the status of the system services. |
| show system storage | View information about the system storage resources. |
| show system uptime | View information about how long the system has been up. |
