Configure IPv6 on Concerto

You can add IPv6 to both WAN and LAN interfaces in Concerto. The configuration procedure for the two interface types is different.
Configure IPv6 on WAN Interfaces
- Go to Configure > Profile Elements > Policy Elements > Device > Interface.
The main pane displays the configured interface policy elements.
- Select a WAN interface. The Edit Interface screen displays.
- Select the Connection tab.
- Click Add IPv6 Address.
- Use the slider to select Static or DHCP. If you select DHCP, the Versa Operating SystemTM (VOSTM) device automatically obtains the IPv6 address of the interface from the DHCP server.
- If you select Static, enter the IPv6, next-hop, primary DNS, and secondary DNS addresses. The DNS server IP addresses are optional.
- To create IPv6 static routes that are reachable through the interface, click Static Routes and then click Add IPv6 Routing.
- Enter the destination IPv6 prefix, a preference value from 0 through 255, and a next-hop IPv6 address.
- Click Next, or select the Permissions tab to customize permissions on the interface.
- Click Save.
Configure IPv6 on LAN Interfaces
- Go to Configure > Profile Elements > Policy Elements > Device > Interface. The main pane displays the configured interface policy elements.
- Select a LAN interface. Edit Interface screen displays.
- Select the Address and Routing tab.
- Under the Address heading, click Add IPv6 Address.
- Use the slider to select Static or DHCP. If you select DHCP, the VOS device automatically obtains the IPv6 address of the interface from the DHCP server.
- If you select Static, you are prompted to enter the following information:
- Use the slider bar to enable VRRPv6.
- Under IPv6 Virtual Address, enter an IPv6 address.
- Click Next, or select the Permissions tab to customize permissions on the interface
- Click Save.
To create an address group and configure IPv6 addresses for the addresses in the group:
- Go to Configure > Profile Elements > Elements > Endpoint > Address Group.
The main pane displays all configured address groups.
- Click + Address Group. The Create Address Group screen displays.
- Enter a name for the address group, and then select the Addresses tab.
- Click Add Address.
- In the Type field, select IPv6 Subnet, and then enter an IPv6 address and a subnet mask
- Click Next, or select the Permissions tab to customize permissions.
- Click Save.
