Configure Paired Virtual Tunnels in Concerto

You can configure a paired virtual tunnel, which is a configuration in which two logical tunnels are established between the same pair of endpoints to enhance redundancy, improve reliability, and increase available bandwidth.

Configure a Paired Virtual Tunnel

  1. In Tenant view, go to Configure > Secure SD-WAN > Network Interfaces.

    The Interfaces screen displays with the WAN tab selected by default.
     
  2. Select the Paired Virtual Tunnel tab. If you have not yet configured a paired virtual tunnel, the following screen displays.

  3. Click Add Paired Virtual Tunnel. The Add Paired Virtual Tunnel screen displays step 1, Settings.

  4. Enter information for the following fields.
     
    Field Description
    Tenant One (Required) Select the first tenant to be paired.
    Routing Instance One (Required) Select a routing instance for the first tenant. 
    BGP Import Policy Select a BGP import policy for Tenant One.
    BGP Export Policy Select a BGP export policy for Tenant One.
    Tenant Two (Required) Select the second tenant to be paired.
    Routing Instance Two (Required) Select a routing instance for the second tenant.
    BGP Import Policy Select a BGP import policy for Tenant Two.
    BGP Export Policy Select a BGP export policy for Tenant Two.
    IPv4 Address Enabled by default. You cannot change this parameter.
    IPv6 Address Click the toggle to enable IPv6.
    BGP Type Select a BGP type, either IBGP or EBGP.
  5. Click Next to go to the Permissions screen. Select or unselect permissions for each role, if needed. The permissions allow the users assigned to the role to perform one or more of the following actions:
    • Create—Can create new roles
    • Read—Can read existing roles
    • Update—Can read and make changes to roles
    • Delete—Can delete roles

  6. Click Next to go to step 3, Review & Submit.

  7. Review the configuration. Click the pencil-icon-blue-on-white-22.png Edit icon in any section to update the settings.
  8. Click Submit to create the interface.

Manage Paired Virtual Tunnel Interface Configurations 

You can perform the following actions on paired virtual tunnel interface configurations:

  • Edit
  • Clone
  • Delete
  • View references
  • Propagate
  • Compare versions
  • View the audit log
  • Enable and disable auto delete
