Monitor Concerto Nodes and Software

Versa-logo-release-icon.pngFor supported software information, click here.

This article describes how to monitor Concerto.

You can monitor the following components of Concerto from the Concerto UI:

  • Concerto nodes—Monitor node reachability and current node status.
  • Concerto database—Monitor the status of the Concerto database. To provide distribution and high availability for the database across nodes, Concerto uses the PostgreSQL distributed database system and the Patroni tool. Patroni works in conjunction with Apache ZooKeeper to provide database node monitoring and automatic failover services.
  • Service processes—Monitor the state of Concerto service processes, such as the GlusterFS distributed file system and Apache ZooKeeper.

View Concerto Node Status

To view the status of Concerto nodes, in service provider view, select Infrastucture > System Health.

Field Description
Node Name  Name of the Concerto node.
IP Address IP address of the Concerto node.
Operational Status

Current role of the node:

  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Arbiter

For more information about roles, see Install Concerto.

Configured Status

Role assigned to the node during initial installation:

  • Primary
  • Secondary

Node Reachability Reachability of the node.
Cluster FS Status Status of the file system on the node. Concerto uses the GlusterFS distributed file system.

View Concerto Database Status

Database status includes information for the Patroni PostgreSQL cluster that runs on the nodes in the Concerto instance. Patroni provides high availability and automatic failover for PostgreSQL.

To view the status of the Concerto database, in service provider view, select Infrastructure > System Health > Database Status.
