Configure System Settings for Concerto

You can configure global settings for retaining audit logs, publishing history, APIs, and host headers for the Concerto system. You can also enable End User License Agreement (EULA) consent.
Configure Global Settings
To configure global settings for retaining audit logs, publishing history, APIs, and host headers:
- Go to Settings > System Settings.

The System Settings screen displays. Enter information for the following fields.

Field Description Audit Log Maximum Days of Retention Enter the maximum number of days for which to retain audit log records.
Range: 2 through 365 days
Number of Days to Keep Audit Logs for READ API Calls - (For Releases 12.2.2 and later.) Select the number of days for which to keep the audit logs for READ API calls. HTTP GET calls can generate a high volume of audit logs, so it is recommended that you keep them for 15 days or less, depending on the volume.
The number of days must be the same or less than the number of days entered in the Audit Log Maximum Days of Retention field.
Number of Days to Retain Audit Logs When Size Limit is Exceeded (For Releases 12.2.2 and later.) Select the number of days to retain audit logs when the audit log file size limit is exceeded. The default audit log file size limit is 5 GB. The audit log collects all HTTP PUT, GET, POST, and DELETE calls (read-only) data.
The number of days must be the same or less than the number of days entered in the Audit Log Maximum Days of Retention field.
SSE Maximum Publishing Histories Enter the maximum number of publishing records to save and display. For more information, see Publish SASE Gateways.
Range: 2 through 10
Audit Readlogs Disabled/Enabled (For Releases 13.1.1 and later.) Click the slider bar to enable auditing for REST API GET requests.
Number of Tasks to Retain per Tenant Enter the number of tasks to be retained for each tenant. The values will be considered in next purge cycle.
Range: 100 through 10000
Default: 5000
API Whitelist Subnet Enter the subnets of outside REST APIs that you want to allow. By default, all REST APIs from clients outside the network are blocked. Host Header Whitelist (Releases 13.1.1 and later.) Defines which IP addresses and full qualified domain names (FQDN) are allowed to access the Concerto UI and API.
Syslog Servers (Group of Fields) (Releases 13.1.1 and later.) - IP Address/FQDN
Enter the IP address or fully qualified domain name for the syslog server. - Port
Enter the port number for the syslog server. - Protocol
Select the protocol for the syslog server, TCP or UDP. User Consent Disabled/Enabled (Releases 12.2.2 and later.) See Enable End User License Agreement Consent, below.
- Click Save.
Enable End User License Agreement Consent
For Releases 12.2.2 and later.
You can enable user consent to accept the EULA terms and conditions of the Concerto license when users log in to Concerto. After you enable user consent for EULA in Concerto System Settings, when a user logs in to Concerto again, the Concerto terms and conditions screen is displayed. To log in to Concerto, the user must accept the EULA terms and conditions presented at the first login. If the user declines the EULA, Concerto access is not allowed.
To configure settings for EULA consent:
- Go to Settings > System Settings.

The System Settings screen displays.

- To enable EULA consent, click the User Consent Enabled toggle button.
- In the User Consent URL field, enter the URL for the EULA document.
- Click Save.
- Log out and then log in to Concerto. The Terms and Conditions popup window displays.

- Click Accept.
Note: To disable EULA consent, click the User Consent Enabled toggle button. The EULA terms and conditions popup is displayed only for the first time that the user logs in to Concerto after the user consent is enabled.
Supported Software Information
Releases 12.1.1 and later support all content described in this article, except:
- Release 12.2.2 adds support for EULA user consent, setting the number of days to keep audit logs for READ API calls, and setting the number of days to keep audit logs when the file size limit is exceeded.
- Release 13.1.1 adds support for syslog servers in Settings; adds support for disabling and enabling audit read logs.
